I’ve always had a suspicion that ‘god’ was up to no good. This confirms it.

Could you explain the title of the record a little more? It doesn’t sound very flattering to god … but perhaps appropriate if objective #1 is instilling the fear of god into an impressionable mind. Hmmm…

Reynaldo, your question hints at one of the great ecclesiastical debates - how to reconcile the actions of the angry god in the old testament with the teachings of Christ in the new testament and also with the theory of natural law. I believe Thomas Aquinas took the view that if given authority of god, men may be permitted to do that which they should otherwise not be doing. At that point, hide your record collection (or sell it on Ebay) and head for the hills.

Is God a killer? Or not? Well, I guess He’s big enough to do as He pleases. Do you know anybody that can stop Him?? You think the ACLU has a case against Him? Who will be the judge to impose a sentence on God? Get real sick world. If you got any sense at all, you are going to “beg” the Almighty to have mercy on your wretched soul. His mercy is the only hope you’ve got…Praise God forever!!

Have you not heard of Sodom and Gamorra, yet he still had mercy on those who would do RIGHT. Then again when the walls of Jerico came down by the faithfull people OBEYING GOD and walkning aroun them and blowing the horn. Or perhaps the Tribe of Judeans who thought they would take over the camps while Mosses was in command under the authority of GOD and that tribe and all who stood with them against GOD’S servant were swallowed up by the earth.

Then I guess maybe you ought to think about what am I doing wrong!!!!!
Start thinking what can I do to get it right!!!!!! and GET INTO GODS GRACE AND MERCY!!!!!!!!

It was so intriguing that I bought the whole sermon. Who in the world today would dear to declare “the whole counsel of God” in a mixed up culture in which the Church(of America) unfortunately has found herself blended in and have become no more “Salt” and “Light”.
I’d dear anyone crazy enough to be ridiculed in a day and age like this to title a sermon “God Is A Killer” let alone preach it. That would’nt move alot of CD’s. Most cotton candy floss, milk toast, lilly livered, people pleasing and culture accomodating, seeker friendly churches, and most preachers, have no fear of God nor realllly! read their Bibles in its entirety.
