Richard gives me the "no" feeling. Yet, his face is so mesmerizing.

That’s my Uncle’s LP. Nice to see it cirulating, even after all these years.

Funny how people will take anything and poke fun at it. Oh, well…to each his own. We, his family and friends, are proud of his music…that’s all that counts.

In the 70’s I was in a gospel singing group (the girls back up portion) that was headed up by Richard Espino called “The Lord Led” I am curious what he is doing now. How do I get in contact with someone who knows?

George Espino on October 2nd, 2006 @ 11:39 am

Richard is my cousin, I am proud of everything he does, because I know that he trys his best, Richard is someone I have always looked upto.

I knew Richard in the 70’s when he spent a summer in our town in Montana. He even once came to see me at my college in Washington. Would love to know how he is! Just happened upon this site and nearly fell over when I saw this familiar face!

If you like the music and the strapping young man on this album, then you should get a load of him now. He has gotten so much better with age. And I’m not just saying that because he is my uncle.

If someone is reading this post…PLEASE tell Richard, ‘MAGOO’ (Kathie Magar) is trying to get in touch with him.
We used to travel together in the ‘Golden Heirs Trio’ over 30 years ago. You can have him send me an email, or leave me his email address in a reply post. Also, looking for Bob Warriner who also traveled with Richard and I’m sure they are still good friends. They meant a lot to me, and we had a blast acting silly :) Richard has such a smooth voice. LET ME KNOW OK Thanks tons,
Kathie

I had the same reaction as Donna!! I was one of the backup singers with Angelika and the other girls in the Lord Led. Can you believe that just today I found Richard! I talked with his wife and he supposed to call later today. I’ll refer him to this site but not sure how to have him contact those looking for him

Hi Judi and Donna,

If you are talking to Richard let him know (as above) Magoo is trying to reach him and he can view this site. If he replies, I’ll send him my email address.
Ask him about Bob Warriner too :)
Thanks to whoever can get in touch with him for me. I would like to set up a reunion…if at all possible with past members of the ‘Golden Heirs Trio’ Richard and Bob were hilarious!

Blessings
Kathie

I, like others, just happened on this site and can’t beleive what I saw. I knew Richard back in the early 70’s and still have his album! Worked with him at youth camps and in the church in Woodburn. I’d love to catch up and see where we each have been the last 30+ years. Again, like others, what a voice!!!

Bob Warriner on May 17th, 2007 @ 11:51 pm

Just happened to be surfing around and came upon this site. Hi everyone, Hi Kathy. My email is bob_warriner@yahoo.com, drop me a line and let me know what you’re up to. Saw Ritch about a year ago, but have not been able to reach him since. He is living in the Portland area. Still looking good!

Kathie on May 18th, 2007 @ 3:59 pm

I found Larry and Carole and sent you the email for them. Be in touch.
Many blessings!

I also met Richard in 1976 when he and, I belive Bobby, stayed with our foster family in St.Helens, OR. Both great guys and terrific musicians. Often wondered what happened to them. Has Richard recorded anymore music, and is he still touring? Bob - are you the “Bobby” from Canada?

Ann on January 17th, 2008 @ 1:13 am

I have a great pic of Ritch in the 70’s. Is it okay to share?

TioFan on November 3rd, 2008 @ 8:21 pm
