Ford Lile: Track of the Scarab

ford lile

Totally bugged out (no pun intended) album that Douglas recommended to me recently. Ford Lile manages to sound, mystical, erotic, and really creepy all at the same time - which, to me, seems like no small feat! Imagine if Barry White had taken a Paul Horn style career turn and ended up dabbling in new-age and Egyptology. One you'll have to hear to believe.

In case you were wondering what that pink sticker said…

I like the bit at the end of side 1 where he abruptly shifts from Serious Egyptology Mode to Hey Let’s Party Mode.

I’m sure one of us can get around to recording it. Sign up on the forum and bother me about it - sometimes that works.
