Twilight: Still Loving You

'Nuther stock covered local lp I picked up recently - which turned out to be quite a bit rarer and better than I'd hoped for. I'm normally not big on late 70's/early 80's sounding soul, but the songs here are extremely well written and have an almost singer/songwriter quality to them - or, as it was suggested by someone who heard it "a blend of yacht rock and modern soul". The production is also quite striking for a self-made record. Lots of nice horn arrangements, crisp acoustic guitars, and smooth vocal harmonies. Hopefully the couple guys who knew this record when I asked about it can chime in with a bit of background on it…

Hey, J*sh, is the other record a private thing as well? Or did they end up doing somthing for a label?
