A single record boxset? On Folkways from 1961. Pete Seeger talks you through the intricacies of playing folk guitar. There isn't a whole lot more to say about this, it was a 10 cent find at a used book fair a few years ago. Luckily I already know how to play guitar because the instructional book that originally came with this box is missing from my copy. Needless to say, Pete Seeger comes across as a pretty boring teacher.

Pete Seeger, hmmmm? do people listen to him much nowadays? his music seems so earnest, so serious - this guitar playing initially seems
competent, but then you realise that it is not
exactly inspiring. Listen to some Leadbelly - an
associate - if you want some fiery playing.
