Various Artists - Million Sellers Of The Sixties
Posted on December 18, 2006 by Kris Holmes

I originally saw this record in the book "Naked Vinyl", which is basically a collection of record covers that feature chicks in varying degrees of nakedness. Worth a read for sure. The book actually belongs to my girlfriend and as we were flicking through it laughing at some of the covers she saw this one and said "finally, a record in this book that I actually own!". Turns out she had it twice so I got the double.
It's just one of those non-descript albums where a bunch of session players attempt to recreate a bunch of hit songs based around a common theme (the sixties). The versions on here aren't bad, but basically the only real reason for this record to exist is the fairly awesome cover.

Where do these record sleeve lovelies go to? I imagine this one’s somebody’s grandma now. Ah, the evil ravages of time ….
