Windstone: Take Time

Posted on December 29, 2006 by hcrink

windstone.jpgA really unusual lounge act lp I found in Lower Oregon this last summer. What can I say… I just can't turn away such clearly pimpin' home-made white guys. They stick mostly to pretty bland renditions of standards, but there is fortunately one completely off the wall track that I'm guessing must have been their clueless take on disco.Well, hello ladies…

“Rippling arpeggio cascades that bring to mind the greatest moments in the Ferrante & Teicher catalog but from a whole new disco angle” - The Lower Oregon Reporter.

Also, crink that copy has a bit of background crackle. Would you mind cleaning it on a VPI and re-uploading in 320 Kbps or preferably a lossless audio codec?

The black and white photograph (which I assume was on the back cover) was shot in front of the main administration building (known as the Frank Mansion)on the campus of Lewis and Clark College in Portland Oregon.
