Beaumont High School: A Sometime Rain

Yet another record I bought on a trip back home visiting family. My mom lived in Beaumont for a few years… I can absolutely say without a doubt that if you're ever faced with moving there, DON'T. It is the very definition of a hellhole. Anyhow, even hellholes like Beaumont, California have records… such as this one which I found in one of the most time forgotten thrift shops that I've ever been in. The kind where even in this day and age you can buy a stack of records for literally the coins rattling around in your pocket.

Oh yeah, the record.

WOW! I long ago got sick of the same old “Tommy”,(not one of my faves to begin with) this, on the otherhand is refreshing, like a short, quick, jolly jolt of brown acid, without the hangover. Another great selection.

this is great. one of my best friends is an arab american who grew up in beaumont, the artist Amir Zaki. now you can imagine how hardcore that was. i think he is a oddball artist type because of it.
that record looks like a peice of shit. good eye.

i didn’t know there was a Beaumont in California,
but there’s a Beaumont in Texas an hour and a half away from Houston.
I’m assuming the California city is just as boring as the Texas city. GO BORE-mont!!!
