ACT/Inter-ACT "PAEAN"

Perhaps the most peculiar release on SKYE. It poses the listener with the question “What good is a cutting edge computer company without a pride inducing company song book?” On this record you will find songs with titles like “Hail to the IBM” and odes to IBM’s then president Thomas J. Watson to the tune of “Auld Lang Syne” sung by the Association of British Secretaries in America and backed by a lone piano banging out the familiar melodies. It’s as campy as one could expect a corporate songbook about how awesome IBM is to be. The copy I have seems to be missing a track. The second side lists five tracks but only has four.
