Dakota Sid: S/T

For what it’s worth, I really like this record. One of my favorite rural California lp’s which is saying a lot. Stellar lonesome fire-side cosmic cowboy moves. Never fails to make me wanna spark a doobie, attire myself with large, garish turquoise man-jewelry & hit the road in my boogie-van while jamming a faux-leather case full of Willie Nelson 8 tracks. Joshua Tree bound with the sun setting, a twelve pack of Tecate iced on the passenger seat.

I still have this album from the night he performed in Nevada City. We use to hang out with my dad Jim and step mother Linda and sister Tami. Even did a recording session in his back yard studio one time. Had a lot of fun back then.

BTW…I cleaned, replated, and polished that steel dobro he played on this album in my dads plateing shop in Grass Valley
