Rudy Rosa: Computer Synthesized Organized

Awesome basement wild-west-meets-Napoleon wannabe gets JJ Perrey style funky on a great version of “Baby Elephant Waltz”. But mostly this is all about the cover photo. File under: I will never be as cool as this guy ever and it makes me kinda sad. Thanks, Sean!

Im Rudy Rosa. Alive and well. Still living in Florida. The album above was recorded in the early 70s. My dress code has changed a lot since then. Lol. I do have CDs available, by contacting me at my email address, rudyrosa@juno.com. Big improvement with the newer stuff out there today. I now use a yamaha tyros 2, a Korg Pa-80, Dx7FD2, Hammond XK3, Technics Kn6000, Korg T3 and much more. The only thing that remains the same as I had in the 70s, are the two Mac-2300 Power amps. Love them. I did get rid of my Mid-evil outfits. Lol. Rudy

Rudy Rosa is My father, 41 years now, and anyone that knows us will ask, how did you turn out so tenacious, and yet kind? my answer was always a simple : ” I was born with a plastic spoon in my mouth!!)” My dad the 1 and only Rudy Lee Rosa born in Akron Ohio, was alot of things and still is, but first and formost he is a dying breed of true talent in the richest rarest form!!! Mistakes in life are way to numerous to count and all I can say is if you have ever done something wrong or even thought or heard of it, then Rudy Rosa Mastered it!!! It kinda makes me proud that I googled simply his name and he pays for no search engines, yet he fills up the pages from top to bottom!!! Hey google your friggen name and see what comes up!! I had no Idea my dad was this famous!!! now to counter balance the mistakes in his life, (He created me to take over!!!) LOL just kidding but not really, but seriously, If God offered me a care free life of everything this life has to offer, in trade of being born the middle child of Rudy Rosa, at 41 I swear on all That I am, I would never want to be anyone elses daughter, (Dad If you ever happen to read this, then you know I write awesome letters, but hey Im not grounded right now so I have nothing to prosper from it except to express my gratitude for your sacrifices for me, I repeat this is not an attempt to get un grounded!!) for all others, who Know my father as an awesome musician, a nudist, a comedian a great friend, or anything else, I am here to say what he was to me, yes he was all those things but he was also a father at 18 years old, he taught himself to play the keyboard from ear, not music sheets, infact i think that to this day he might not even know how to read music, butplay a song hes never heard and he can hear and write down the cords!! beyond that, My father is the fair man in justice of the family, tough rough , Smart, but FAIR!!! loving, strong, and when hes not he can put on the strong face to make us feel safe!! we fight, we laugh, we have days of hatred, dissapointment and joy, but, hes always there. He is a true work aholic, exquisite designer, craftsmen, in all he attempts to do, he has been invaluable in my growth, showing me failure is always a possibility but not a permanant condition. he has been visited by David letterman and Paul schaffer to name a few, lenny Dee, my bother was named after him. he was a hard ruler in the family, but at the same time showed us his weakness and the ability that so many parents lack, which is the ability to admit to his children that he wasnt perfect. He never set us up for un realistic dreams, but allowed us to dream them. I cry when I hear his music, because I know what talent and perfection is, and no one but him will ever know it!! He is a failure and an even greater success at being a dad. So If you dont know who he is then its a true loss for you. He Made Survivors out of dreamers, and gave them all the skills to succeed, his Legacy is 3 children, a dedicated wife, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild so far, and to numerous to count the friends and fanshe has left in his wake of his life on this earth. (Ps: Dad can I get back in the will now??) One great person RUDY L ROSA!!!! and yes hes alive and well.

  • Rene says:

This is a perfect example of “Middle Child Syndrome” Unfortunately Melany didn’t get the memo that there is no “WILL” due to ONE of the unruly children constantly being financially supported for 41 years by the famous Rudy Rosa so that she could live “the care free life that God offered her”. If Rudy Rosa has a fault it is that he would give the shirt off his back to anyone of his friends or family members when they would simply ask or he felt they were in need. The fault being that he would take care of others needs before his own. I think that if we look carefully into our own lives then we could see that we too have possibly MASTERED some imperfections. So Rudy Rosa in my opinion dosen’t hold that title. But when it comes to music, you could call him a genious.
    Enjoy the Music

I’m an old guy, 75, and my favorite organist has always been Lenny Dee. In searching for him on the internet I discovered Rudy, and although it was only a few months ago, Rudy is and always shall be my most favorite forever. Back in 1959-1960 I worked in a Hammond organ studio teaching the little Hammond Chord organ, and self-taught myself to play the spinet and console models. I bought an A100 after my two bosses, Orson White and Erv Gerlat split up, sold their business and both moved to Florida. Every evening I plug my earphones into my laptop and just relax while listening and watching Rudy play. What a gift. I could only wish such talent for myself. I’m grateful that this music is available for me to enjoy.
