The Spies: My Radio/Bad Girl

I really like this single and a lot of the usual punk discography type sites don’t speak too highly of it. In the Henry Weld discography of Texas punk, the reviewers wrote a sort of one thumb up one thumb down: “Mystery record, quite good.[DR]” Another source says “mediocre would be the kindest description”. No listing on Flex. I also have been surprised not to run into a comp with these tracks on there. Perhaps peeps are trying to maintain a lowish price cause they have not found a copy yet? One sold on ebay for a chunk of change a couple years back and did not show up on collectorsfrenzy or popsike. Coincidence or conspiracy? Anyway, 1982 release, recorded in an Austin studio. Stompin’ uptempo catchy tune if you ask me! Judge for yourself!
