Cecil Leuter & Georges Teperino – TV Music 104

tv music 104

TV Music was a sub-division of Chappell in the late 1960s. To the best of my knowledge there are only four releases on this label (the other three I desperately need to hear). Cecil Leuter (otherwise known as Roger Roger) handles the "Electro Themes" on one side, while Georges Teperinos' (Nino Nardini's real name) "Electrosonics" control the other.

Georges Teperino – Electrosonics Nº2
Georges Teperino – Electrosonics Nº4
Cecil Leuter – Electro Theme Nº5
Cecil Leuter – Electro Theme Nº8

    Hey ! A very great record !
The 3 other from the same collection have all been composed by the magic tandem Cecil Leuter & Georges Teperino…
I have a copy of the TVM 101 (unfortunately without cover), and I think it’s a bit less interesting.
Almot all the Roger & Nardini records recorded between 68 & 78 are marvellous ! Take a look at the catalog of the IM label… ;-)

Just came across this site, while doing some research into Roger Roger. He provided the theme to a British TV program called “Desperate Peope”, which was released commercially in the UK as “The Desperades” and in Australia as “Dalilia”. Can anyone tell me wat was the name of the original piece and what Chappell recording it was on. Many thanks

Hi. I have a copy of the LP TVMusic 103.It has been through the magical process of digitalistion and is now also to be found on my hard drive. I could send you some sound snippets if you like. I’m not too good at compressing files so to e mail the whole record would probably block your mailbox for hours! It is nearly 78MBs. I have only just come across your site (via a link on trunkrecords.com regarding your discovery of ‘Life On Earth’), and fear that I will now be spending even more time online than before. Would you like new contributions? I may have records that would be of interest to your readers and much of my vinyl has been recorded onto disc as well. Since trunkrecords.com threw open its’ doors to readers’ own recommendations I have been regularly pestering them with my own current favourites, so go there and have a read! Cheers, Jonny White.

well – between us we have all four Leuter /Teperino LPs on TVMusic – I have TVM 102 – Weird Sounds 1 to 7 by Teperino and Crazy Sounds 1 to 7 by Leuter. I think I like it, but haven’t listened to it much, and have had for 10 yrs. I like the Teperino side best.
