Flash Beverage: Train

In today's parallel universe Lemmy fronts a Southern Rock band. I don't know if FLASH BEVERAGE ever heard, let alone heard of, MOTORHEAD back in 1980, but I have my doubts. I prefer to think that playing Hard Rock whilst blind drunk on grain alcohol has a universal sound. The key is hitting the blitz-ing point; from there you're free to channel it in your own special way.

The flip is also pretty good, but another member took over on vocal duties, so it doesn’t have the same je ne sais quoi.

  2. Great tune – thanks!
It reminds me of all the things that could have been, had Brian Robertson (of Thin Lizzy) and Lemmy managed to keep it together for more than one album, the hugely under-rated Another Perfect Day

There’s gotta be a story here. Dying to hear the flip. Does the girl sing?

“Goin’ down to Carson City” . . .
