Gianni Safred – Futuribile (The Life to Come)

This was originally released on the obscure "Music Scene" Italian library label, but soon after found a home with our good friends at Folkways. Rather than trying to come up with an entertaining review of this futuristic electronic/jazz/disco record, I'll just let the liner notes do the job. It seems the people at Music Scene went for the "word for word" approach in trying to translate their little biography on Safred from Italian to English. The result is pretty comical. I certainly am fonds of electronic music that is for sure.

  1. Tony DiGregorio says:

I would like to hear this. Is this the same Gianni Safred that recorded with Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli in 1949?

  2. Keith & Juliana says:

We like this artist too. Would you trade for this record?
    Absolutely no offence intended!
