Incomparable Leland Stanford Junior University Marching Band

That one dude has a pot leaf on his tuba. How sweet is that? Anyhow, yeah, turned-on marching band plays the Dead, Stones, Santana, Chicago, etc, etc. Betcha each and every one of them made a bong in ceramics class.

    Excellent, I always pass on a copy of this at my local thrift store tht has been sitting there for at least a year. I always nearly buy it but then put it back, it’s almost become a ritual.

    I’m pretty sure they made these from the late 60s through the 70s, and they are all heavy on the classic rock radio jams.

    The band’s anthem in the 70s when my mom was going there was Free – All Right Now.

    i love the leland stanford marching band. kris, i don’t have this one…can you get it for me?

    btw, these were stanford kids, not a jr varsity band…college kids.

    their arranger is phenom on the 2 lps i have. Otis fodder put up one of their tracks on the 365 days.

    Ok -located behind a dsty (of course) self made particle board rack in the middle of a hot afternoon -agree with hcrink -not missing much here – although ‘Conquistador’ has something sinister in it’s grooves..
