JUST US 2 is a macrobiotic choice here in Texas. Consisting of Phyllis and Bryan Barnes, it blooms sporadically in local thrift stores. This first one is just them two and it has a certain bass Moog appeal to the Marty and Elaine gone country abandon. JIVE TALKING churns slowly and bubbles under the surface. ROAD TO NOWHERE is a console organ drum-machine propelled country road song. Bryan gets a chance to shine on banjo while Phyllis blows a little Melodica to the dusty wind.
