Still a mystery to me, found a stack of these in Richmond VA (the label's hometown) almost a decade ago, many years of questions and research has yielded nada. The label is known for some hard 60′s garage rockers, this spoken recitation with folky guitar strumming & humming of the Stone's "As Tears Go By" coupled with the staccato of weapons fire leads to the question, which parts (all or none ?) were "recorded live in chu lai vietnam" and which well known college was his brother playing pro ball at ?!? listen & learn : part one

Nice album.
I know what it’s like when you don’t get mail in the field.
dammit, now i wanna hear part 2! see what you did?!
Another Waxidermy favorite. Most probably recorded on a 4 or 2 track reel-to-reel (duh). I wonder if Chu Lai was a Firebase…. Super rare, thus I understand why you might not want to post the whole thing. Regarding the b-side: is it a straight continuation of “part one”? And where do the lyrics go? Thanks t for sharing this gem.
Always wanted to hear this, link is down.
