Fuesuen Oenal – Alo Ben

Fuesun was a well known turkish pop star back in the seventies. Most of her music might not appeal to many nowadays but this album has the great funk track “Ayyy Kacma” on it. While digging in Turkey ain’t that easy unless you want to spend serious money i found this LP for cheap in a second hand furniture store. I didn’t know the record back then but i felt that just the cover was already worth the sum the man running the store asked for. To this day it’s one of my favourite record covers. After listening to “Ayyy Kacma” the LP became one of my favourite turkish finds and it still reminds me of the good time I had when I lived in Istanbul for half a year.
