Graciela Susana – Adoro, La Reine De Saba

From what I can Google, Graciela Susana is an Argentinian singer who had a fair bit of success singing in Japanese for the Japan market in the 70s. This LP mixes more traditional pop fare with sparse latin/folk stylings. It's a mixture of traditional songs and tracks written by Japanese writers which is pretty listenable in places.

    I am from Argentina and:

I had never ever heard of this woman.
It’s always surprising how even the ilustrated americans (I assume Kris Holmes is one of them) completely ignore that South America is in fact not a country. I mean: Argentina and Brazil are two veeeery diferent cultures. And not only in music. It’s as if I tagged “canadian” whe referring to i.e. Lil Wayne.

Unfortunately there isn’t an option for “Argentinian” in the “Filed under:” check boxes, so I figured that ticking “Brazilian” & “Latin” would get me somewhere close. Sorry for any offence this has caused you, I do know that Argentina & Brazil are different. I am from New Zealand so we always get confused with Australians, I feel your pain.
